Today my happy place looked like this… 💜

I finally had the chance to visit a Hope Hill Lavender Farm today, and it was every bit as magical as I imagined.

As a certified aromatherapist (and soon-to-be certified in animal aromatherapy 😉🐾), I love learning not only how aromatic plants are used BUT how they’re grown and cared for.

Walking through rows of blooming lavender…seeing the different lavender varieties and other flowers & herbs 🪴
Seeing the bees 🐝 hard at work
Ah-May-ZING!!

It’s a great reminder that every essential oil begins as a living plant, lovingly tended too long before it reaches our diffuser.

I’ll be headed back soon to watch the lavender distillation process! 💜

I can’t wait to see fresh lavender transformed into essential oil, and of course I’ll be sharing the experience with all of you.

Days like today remind me why I fell in love with aromatherapy in the first place.

🌿 Have you ever visited a lavender farm?

🎆 Paws Before the Pops 🐾

The 4th will be here soon and with it the loud booms. Fireworks may be exciting for us, but for many of our furry loved ones, they can be overwhelming.

One way I like to prepare is by creating a calm, comforting environment before the first boom is heard.

This diffuser blend features:
🌿 Lavender-infused Frankincense (from Aromatics International)*
🌳 Sandalwood
🍊 Sweet Orange

*Can sub 1 drop each Lavendula angustifolia & Boswellia carterri

Every animal is unique, so aromatherapy should always be offered thoughtfully and with choice. Always diffuse in a well-ventilated space and ensure your pet can leave the area if they wish.

What helps your pets feel safe during fireworks? I’d love to hear your favorite calming rituals below. 🐾💜

📷 made with AI .. and it did good imo this time 😂

Strength, Family, Connection, Gratitude 🙏🏻🫶🏻
What will your Summer mantra be?

Lets go! 🦄🥳🥰

🌿 Today’s creations✨

☁️ A relaxing + uplifting aromatic mist featuring:
• German Chamomile hydrosol
• Sandalwood essential oil
• Distilled Lime essential oil
Reminds me of the beach 🏖️

I also made:
✨ an under-eye balm featuring coffee infused oil
✨ a silky body powder featuring lavender infused frankincense ❤️ (and so far perfect for keeping dry on those hot sticky days, iykyk)

One of the things I love most about aromatherapy is how versatile plant support can be. Sometimes it’s a diffuser blend, sometimes it’s a comforting body product, and sometimes it’s simply taking the time to create something with intention 🫶🏻

And yes… my kitchen often turns into a tiny apothecary 😅

Now to get creative and come up with names for em all 🤪

☀️It’s HOT 🥵 so here’s a Hydration check!

Are you:
🥤 Team plain water
🍓 Team fancy fruit water
🌿 Team herbal iced tea
☕ Team coffee counts as hydration right?

Listen… staying hydrated doesn’t have to mean forcing yourself to chug boring water all day😉

✨Your water can become a whole ritual✨

💧Try adding:
• cucumber + mint
• strawberries + basil
• lemon + blueberry
• orange + rosemary
• watermelon + lime

AND let’s talk about herbal teas for a second…

🌿 Herbal teas are basically “fancy water with benefits.”👊

Cold brewed herbal teas can:
✨add flavor
✨help you drink more water
✨offer antioxidants
✨feel like a cozy lil’ spa moment in a glass

Bonus points if you add hydrosols to your hydration routine 👀

A few of my refreshing favorites:
🌱 Peppermint hydrosol
🥒 Cucumber hydrosol
🍋 Lemon balm hydrosol

A tiny splash can turn your water into a botanical refresher.

Because honestly? Hydration feels way more magical when it tastes like a garden fairy made it for you 🧚‍♀️💦

So tell me…What’s YOUR favorite way to “fancy up” water?

🐾✨ Case studies are officially a go! ✨🌿

One of the biggest things I’ve been learning through my animal aromatherapy studies is that it’s not just about essential oils.

Animal aromatherapy can include:
🌿 herbs
🌿 hydrosols
🌿 and sometimes essential oils.. always approached gently, safely, and with the animal’s choice and comfort in mind.

Below is my sweet Trixie girl ❤️ enjoying her little herb mat/garden.

🌱 Herbs shown:
• Catnip
• Catgrass
• Calendula
• Valerian
• Chamomile
• Lemon Balm

Watching animals naturally interact with aromatics and self select them is such a beautiful reminder that scent and plants play a supportive role in emotional wellbeing and enrichment (for us & them!).

As part of completing my certification, I’m currently accepting a few additional animal aromatherapy case studies 🐾

If you’ve ever been curious about gentle, plant-based support for your pet, shoot me a message and let’s chat more about the process. 🌿✨

Would your pet enjoy a little herb garden like this?

Hey there! Wondering where I’ve been? 👀
I’ve been here… quietly peeking in.

Life has been a little extra “life-y” lately, and I’ve been leaning into slower moments plus working hard on my animal aromatherapy studies 🤓🐾
Clearly I have a serious study partner 😂

I’ve missed being here though… sharing a cup of coffee and cozy rituals with you ☕✨

I’m easing back in, one mug at a time soon with more aromatherapy, more intention, and a few new things to share.

Tell me… what have you been up to lately?
