Painting- a ritual born out of the need to express an emotion and transmute its energy into a tangible object that serves as both the vehicle through which an emotion is expressed and a monument to its existence at all. In this ritual, the human element is prioritized above all as it is very foundation of and reason for the existence of emotion at all.
The human element can never be replaced.
I have not put myself out there in a long time but that is going to change. As I start posting again, friendly reminder that I am a painter above all and there will NEVER be any A👁 on this page. Every painting you see was created with my hands in my studio with paint I went to the store and bought. The same paint that stains my clothes and embeds itself into my nails. All of my work was born from my own real experiences and emotions, not a prompt. My captions are also from MY brain and reflect my real, very vulnerable and personal thoughts.
