To see the artwork in person versus in a digital form or on paper is night and day—the richness and subtlety of a brush stroke or the sensuality of the surface of a sculpture. The flow of a sculpture from one facet to the next must be experienced in real life. As artists, we create to give a part of ourselves to you. Just take it in.

It will be such a beautiful experience. I have seven sculptures at this magical place and will add two more next week.

Installing this show made me realize that an art collection is not complete without sculptures. Actually I already knew that and I’m just being dramatic.

These little beauties are just a few of the sculptures by Karin Bandelin, Andree Brown and Laurence Elle Groux that are on view in The Summer Salon which opens for members only previews this weekend and to all on Tuesday June 27th.
