anatomy kewpies will always be such a huge part of my work — merging vintage toy nostalgia, oddities, medical imagery, and adorable unease into something to collect. 🫀

i’ve been spending a lot of time creating for lately, and tonight i’m dropping a new vintage pl***oy collection in my etsy shop. Layered resin pieces collaged with vintage 1966 thru early 2000s pl***oy magazines, surreal ephemera, celestial details, and psychedelic imagery

I’ll be releasing a small collection of May Queens as a blessing for Beltane—the festival of bloom and returning of the light✨

From Beltane’s soft fire into midsommar’s full blaze—like a dream you can’t quite wake from.. everything is in bloom and nothing stays hidden. 🌚🌝

Kilo and the Kewpies are out here at today! Suns out brains and guts out 🧠
✨ Til 5pm — come say hi!
South Congress is full of local artists, jewelry, clothes, plants, tarot, 100$ tattoos and small businesses set up along the block today
Inside they’re also hosting a donation drive for Pleasant Hill Elementary, collecting hygiene supplies and school materials for families experiencing housing instability.
A portion of today’s / kilo.flow sales will also go to the ❤️‍🩹

When communities take care of each other, everyone is stronger. 💘flow / will be at the SoCo Block Party on March 14th alongside a bunch of amazing local vendors, artists, and small businesses.
🌼A portion of my sales that day will go toward helping neighbors in our community who need it most.
Come out for art, tarot, oddities, pizza, 100$ tattoos, and good people.

we gather what came before,

👼 The kewpie has lived many lives.
From Rose O’Neill’s 1909 illustrations, later embodied as dolls in 1912, to the countless cultural reinterpretations that followed — each version reflects its moment. The world kept reinterpreting them, every era leaves its fingerprints.
🌹Rose O’Neill dreamed them first — adorable little radicals slipped into the mainstream. She used their success to support women’s suffrage and claim her own financial independence.
🔥This one is my Midsommar offering — a Mayqueen kewpie, crowned in perpetual bloom. As always, uniquely handmade 1 of 1.

🧠 This is a family affair… Hand sculpted 1/1 anatomy kewpies by .flow, a mini Moondon - an original sculpt by as an ode to his daughters — that I put my signature KiloFlow anatomy touch on, and “The Blob” one of several figures fully imagined and sculpted by my 9 year old stepdaughter which we molded and cast to recreate in resin and not to forget, a toddler whose medium is basically any substance she can fingerprint with, dance to, or make music with. ❤️‍🔥
Some families take vacations to the beach in the summer to make their core memories.. ours make them doing art shows together.
Next stop: in Dallas! 🌵 Classic kaiju films on the big screen, epic toy makers and a panel of artists that we are honored to be speaking on this year! Don’t miss it !🦖 🌆 🎥
