QAM is proud to announce the addition of American soprano Amanda Sheriff to its roster of artists for worldwide management.

Ms. Sheriff has been celebrated for her luminous voice, compelling stage presence, and versatility across genres spanning the classic operatic repertoire, contemporary classical works, and musical theater.

Planned engagements for the 2026-2027 season include reprising the role of Beatrice in Three Decembers with Opera Grand Rapids, appearing as soprano soloist in Mozart's Requiem with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, making a Carnegie Hall debut as soprano soloist in Schubert's Mass in G Major, and a Tulsa Opera debut as Despina in Così fan tutte.

2025–26 season highlights included Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro with The Atlanta Opera, a musical theater debut as Sarah in Ragtime with Opera Montana, and a return to Opera Baltimore as Yniold in Pelléas et Mélisande. She also covered the role of Catherine in the world premiere of Suddenly Last Summer, a new opera presented at Bard SummerScape.

QAM is proud to announce the addition of Bass-Baritone Jason Zacher to its roster of artists for general management.

Mr. Zacher has garnered acclaim as a versatile emerging talent in opera, concert, and musical theatre. Praised for his “resonant baritone voice, acting skills to burn, and most important, an alluring persona that dominated the stage every moment he was on,” (Opera News) Zacher continues to captivate audiences with his commanding stage presence and vocal versatility.

This season, Zacher makes his house debut at The Metropolitan Opera as First Priest in the company’s holiday presentation of The Magic Flute and covers The Herald in its production of Otello. He also reprises the roles of Olin Blitch in Susannah with Shreveport Opera and Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance with Amarillo Opera, and returns to Merkin Hall as Benny in Kurt Weill’s Happy End (a co-production between The Glimmerglass Festival and Opera Saratoga).

A former Studio Artist at The Atlanta Opera, the artist recently completed a two-year tenure with the company, appearing in productions of Frankenstein, Rigoletto, La bohème, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Magic Flute, and Macbeth. He is also an alumnus of other prestigious training programs including The Glimmerglass Festival, Des Moines Metro Opera, and Kentucky Opera, among others.

On the concert stage, Zacher has performed several times at Carnegie Hall, most recently essaying the role of The Hermit in the French adaptation of Der Freischütz with the American Symphony Orchestra. Additional Carnegie Hall appearances have included Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass with MidAmerica Productions and Handel’s Messiah with Masterwork Chorus. The artist has also collaborated in concert with award-winning artists Natalie Merchant and Anthony Roth Costanzo at The Glimmerglass Festival.

QAM is proud to announce the addition of soprano Tiffany Townsend to its roster of artists for worldwide management.

The American soprano has been praised for her “powerhouse soprano and expressive presence” (The Wall Street Journal) and “rich voice and interpretive talent” (Bachtrack). The recipient of the prestigious 2021 Richard F. Gold Career Grant from the Shoshana Foundation, Ms. Townsend’s 2026-2027 season kicks off with a return to Opera Philadelphia, where she debuts the title role in Aida in a new production from director Kaneza Schaal and visual artist Christopher Myers. The event marks the return of Verdi’s masterpiece to the Academy of Music in over two decades. 2025-2026 season highlights included performances of Crash Out Queens: A Tiffany Townsend Recital in collaboration with Long Beach Opera, A Night for Romance with Folsom Lake Symphony, and a debut with Chattanooga Symphony & Opera as the soprano soloist in Verdi's Requiem.

A former LA Opera Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist, Townsend's roles with the company include Ines/Leonora cover (Il Trovatore), Desdemona cover (Otello), Julie cover (Omar), and a celebrated debut as Léontine in The Anonymous Lover. In past seasons, she has performed with companies including Opera Philadelphia, Des Moines Metro Opera, Long Beach Opera, and Opera Grand Rapids, among others. On the concert stage, the artist has enjoyed frequent performances of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, Verdi's Requiem, Walker's Lilacs, Faure's Réquiem, Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915, and Strauss' Four Last Songs with organizations including Wolf Trap Opera, Artosphere Festival, Bakersfield Symphony, New Jersey Symphony, NOI+, and Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra. She is an avid recitalist and continues to devise exciting and collaborative programs, most recently in partnership with Long Beach Opera.

A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Townsend holds a Professional Studies Certificate in Opera from Curtis Institute of Music, a Master of Music from The Juilliard School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Millsaps College.

Cincinnati Opera has announced a thrilling season for their 2027 Summer Festival, and QAM artists are prominently featured in two of their three mainstage productions.

The season opens with an inspiring operatic tribute to an American icon: JOHN LEWIS: GOOD TROUBLE, with music by Maria Thompson Corley and libretto by Diana Solomon-Glover. The new work is the second in Cincinnati Opera’s BLACK OPERA PROJECT, a nationally unique, three-opera commissioning initiative that celebrates the resilience, richness, and creativity of the Black American experience. QAM conductor and AMERICAN SPIRITUAL ENSEMBLE founder and music director Everett McCorvey leads a cast that includes Freddie Ballentine, Kevin Short, Marietta Simpson and Markel Reed.

The final fully staged production of the festival will be Puccini's TURANDOT. QAM artist Jessica Faselt, soprano debuts the title role alongside Matthew White as Calaf and Kathryn Lewek as Liù. Lorenzo Passerini leads the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra from the pit. The new-to-Cincinnati production hails from Lyric Opera of Chicago and is a co-production of the Dallas Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Houston Grand Opera, and San Francisco Opera.

Today, we proudly and gratefully celebrate the fifth anniversary of QAM's launch.

In a time when our industry continues to surmount seemingly endless challenges, we are more grateful than ever for the past, current and future successes that we have enjoyed over the last five years and look forward to in the seasons to come.

And, none of it would be possible without the relationships on both sides of the table which form the core and heart of our agency. A special thanks to all of you who have championed us every step of the way, and to each of you who entrust us with your storytelling journey each and every day.

This afternoon, QAM artist Zachary James will be featured in a program which marks two important career milestones: a debut with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the world premiere of Philip Glass' Symphony No. 15, "Lincoln." The new work features a libretto drawn from speeches and writings throughout Abraham Lincoln's life and prominently highlights his 1838 Lyceum Address.

The program, which also features Copland's "Lincoln Portrait" narrated by Alec Baldwin, will be conducted by Karen Kamensek and performed in Tanglewood's Koussevitzky Music Shed in Lenox/Stockbridge, MA.

James, who has long been associated with Glass' work and created the role of Abraham Lincoln in the composer's opera THE PERFECT AMERICAN, will also perform the new Symphony with the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music later this month and the Orchestra of St. Luke's in a program celebrating Glass' 90th birthday in January of 2027.

This evening, QAM mezzo Tichina Vaughn brings her beloved Maria in George Gershwin's PORGY AND BESS to the Smetana Litomyšl Fest in The Czech Republic for one performance only.

The cast also includes Eric Greene as Porgy, Elizabeth Llewellyn as Bess, Aundi Marie Moore as Serena and Kenneth Kellogg as Crown.

Next season, the artist will reprise the role for the Komische Oper Berlin's much-anticipated touring presentation of the work (a co-production with the Royal Danish Opera, the Théâtre du Châtelet, and the Opéra National de Lyon) which premieres in May 2027 under the baton of James Gaffigan.

This evening, San Francisco Opera Medal recipient and QAM mezzo-soprano Catherine Cook takes her final bow of the 2025-2026 season in one of her most beloved roles, the maid Berta in Rossini's THE BARBER OF SEVILLE. Fellow cast members include Justin Austin as Figaro, Hongni Wu as Rosina, Jack Swanson as Almaviva, and Patrick Carfizzi as Doctor Bartolo.

The 2026-2027 season will find Cook returning to her home company to perform another role for which the artist has been renowned: Marcellina in Mozart's THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO.

Debuting a leading Wagner role (in this instance, Sieglinde in DIE WALKÜRE) under any circumstances is a daunting task.

Doing so in one of the most high-profile events of the year (in this instance, a series of fully staged concert performances with the LA Phil for one of Gustavo Dudamel's final programs as Music & Artistic Director)? QAM artist Jessica Faselt, soprano not only rose to the task, but navigated a marathon rehearsal schedule and proceeded to shine in the role for six evenings of consecutive performances (one act of the opera was presented each evening for two cycles of the complete work).

Her performances were met with extraordinary critical praise. Joshua Barone of the The New York Times reported, “Some of Dudamel’s finest moments were matched by the singers onstage, above all the soprano Jessica Faselt as Sieglinde. Her exclamation of “O hehrstes Wunder!” in Act III was extraordinary but almost came as no surprise, given how eloquent and dynamic her performances were on the two previous nights."

Faselt will again perform the role this July in Taipei, Taiwan for her Asia-Pacific debut. Prior to that, she performs Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 with the San Francisco Symphony this June under the baton of James Gaffigan in a program dedicated to late Music Director Laureate Michael Tilson Thomas.

This evening marks the thrilling opening performance of DIE WALKÜRE with the LA Phil and Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel. The series of staged performances encompasses the work twice in individual acts over a period of six days/evenings.

Among the world-class artists included in the cast is QAM artist Jessica Faselt, soprano, who will will be debuting the role of Sieglinde during these performances opposite Christine Goerke as Brünnhilde, Ryan Speedo Green as Wotan, and Soloman Howard as Hunding.

Faselt's 2025-2026 season has also included singing Helmwige and covering Sieglinde in DIE WALKÜRE with Santa Fe Opera, covering the title role in TURANDOT for The Atlanta Opera, and a debut with the Opéra national de Paris as Helmwige. She will reprise the role of Sieglinde this summer with the Taiwan Philharmonic in her Asia-Pacific debut.
