We are pleased to be a community partner with BalletX this summer to help support outdoor performances by local artists! More information on the event is below.

EVENT DESCRIPTION
Join us at BalletX’s Festival at Highmark Mann, June 4-5, featuring the world premiere of The Four Seasons Reimagined – an epic love letter to Mother Nature that invites audiences into a living, breathing world shaped by sound, movement, light, and design. Composer and electronic music innovator Dan Deacon creates and performs a bold original score live on stage, igniting an immersive landscape where the seasons pulse with urgency and wonder. Four visionary choreographers, Morgann Runacre-Temple (Summer), Penny Saunders (Fall), Jamar Roberts (Winter), and Trey McIntyre (Spring), each bring a distinct season to life, revealing nature as the driving force at the heart of the story: fragile, fierce, and magnificently alive. With pre-show performances and activities across Highmark Mann’s campus and free parking, the Festival is an accessible, unforgettable celebration of dance, music, and connection under the stars.

Every one of the titles you see are a show that either the company or one of its members has been able to support during a developmental stage in its journey to reach an audience. Each one is unique in style, topic, and artistic goals.

All of these shows are just a drop in the bucket of the multitudes of new, original stories told in the tradition of musical theatre. This year we were unable to continue our practice of fostering new works due to a number of factors, including a lack of funds to sufficiently provide a staff and resources to support the artists making new works.

We are launching an initiative to continue developing new theatre in 2027 and beyond! Help us achieve this goal by making a tax-deductible donation to our fundraiser. All proceeds raised will go towards helping new musicals and plays to develop and grow towards the next step in their artistic journey, while providing free and accessible performances to our community in thr Greater Philadelphia Area.
