When there is a photographer in the house, the kids don’t get stuck with bu****it overpriced craptastic school pictures. The greatest thing about being a father is seeing your children grow up. The hardest thing about being a father is seeing your children grow up. It’s been a long time since Kenley or Aubrey held my hand or climbed onto my lap, and oh, how I long for those days, seeing the two of you become the young ladies you are makes up for it, and fills me with pride.

I must have made more than 30 frames on this bridge, and if sunset wasn’t rushing towards us, I would have kept working because every time the shutter fired Kyah would instinctively change up her pose. There was a lot to like, but the fact that I can’t see her eyes is what makes this one my favorite. No eyes = instant mystery. I love it.
