Let’s talk sweeteners!!! With all of the sugars we have at our disposal, The Poultry Palette has chosen to go with the healthier ones. This allows us to create sweet treats with a clear conscious on what we offer for you to put in your bodies. There are only 4 approved sweeteners on our list. If one of them can’t make a great product, then we won’t make it. Organic Coconut Sugar, Pure Maple Syrup, Pure Honey, and Turbinado Sugar. We recently added the Turbinado Sugar, as it is unbleached and minimally processed, and fits right into our purpose of offering healthier choices. Our first product made with Turbinado Sugar is our new to the show sourdough discard “Not ‘yo Momma’s No-bakes”. And the name is certainly fitting. They resemble the classic no-bake, but we have taken out your momma’s chemically process white sugar, and added some sourdough discard, for good gut benefits.

We will be offering samples at this week’s Havre de Grace Farmers Market so you can come and taste the difference a healthier sweetener makes!!

Hope you all have been enjoying the break in the heat!! To celebrate, come and get some sweet treats from our self-serve stand!! The reserves have been added to the stand, and once out, they will be out until Saturday. We only use unbleached and unbromated flour, plus healthy sweeteners: Organic Coconut Sugar, Turbinado Sugar, Pure Maple Syrup, and Pure Honey!! Stop by and taste the difference!!
