“We make music fun!”
Our orchestra’s is partnered with the Peoria Park District and aim to provide a performance space for as many local musicians as we can. For anyone who played in school, or other civic instrumental ensembles, and wants to keep playing or return to playing their instrument at a high level we have a place for you. No matter is you play a string instrument, brass, woodwind, or percussion, all are welcome. For more information on becoming a member of the Peoria Pops Orchestra please email: [email protected]

Hey Peoria Pops! We are so thankful for you! Thank you for joining us for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! You all are the best!
Music is, in my opinion, one of the greatest and most sincere forms of self-expression. That is why I’m deeply grateful for groups like the Peoria Pops Orchestra, as well as the Giulio Gari Foundation. The foundation focuses on discovering talented singers and promoting the opera worldwide. One of the ways they do this is through their online series, the Salon Series, which airs over Facebook Live and is accessible to anyone with an internet connection. The series features performances by a different singer every episode and exposes them to new, diverse audiences. Their most recent episode showed an incredible performance by Sylvia D’Eramo and Chris Carbin, a married couple who’ve worked together in the past and have an amazing story. Their newest episode will air on November 17th; however, all other episodes are free and available to watch on the foundation’s page and their YouTube channel. I strongly encourage anybody who is interested to check them out!
Do you have an event post to share about the 4th of July?
The temperature is perfect and there's a slight breeze... It's a great night to come see Peoria Pops Orchestra Swing Band play at Rotary Park in Washington. They're here until 8pm tonight, thanks to their sponsors Washington Christian Village, and playing a wide range of music.
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas from your former director! I really miss the Pops especially our Christmas production.
