Michael Carson IS the Last Person Standing. 👊

Two runners left in the race. One clock. No finish line—only the choice to keep going.

What started at noon on New Year’s Day turned into more than 48 hours of relentless forward motion. Lap after lap. Day into night. Night into another day. Sleep traded for resolve. Comfort replaced by courage.
wmv outlasted the impossible, taking the win as our Last Person Standing at Across The Years with 145 completed laps and 204.56 miles—a masterclass in patience, grit, and belief.

Benjamin Niebla, equally fierce, closed his journey at 203.15 miles, choosing to stop after lap 144—proving that strength isn’t always about one more step, but about knowing when you’ve given everything.

This is not just a race.
It’s a conversation with your limits that lasts for days.
And these two spoke fluently.

Well done to our champion, and congratulations to everyone who toed the line with us at the 2025/26 Last Person Standing event at Across The Years!

The clock keeps turning, and so do we.
Miles stack up quietly. Goals come into focus.
Some are finishing dreams they carried in,
others are still chasing them—step by stubborn step.

There are tired legs, bright smiles, and a community that refuses to let anyone run alone. Cheers at every lap. Hugs at every milestone. A shared understanding that this place, right now, is something special.

One more full day to give what you have, to celebrate what you’ve done, and to soak in the magic of running into a new year together.

The 2025/2026 Across the Years kicks off December 28, and if you missed online registration but still want to jump into one of the many options during this 6-day celebration of running & pedestrianism—you’re in luck.

On-site registration is OPEN:

• Saturday, Dec 27: 2:00–6:00pm
• Daily: 7:00am–12:00pm
