The last Navy C-2A made its final flight from Norfolk, Virginia to NAS Pensacola, Florida on July 28, 2026 closing out a 60+ year chapter of serving the fleet. The Navy Blue Angels escorted her in formation as she made one last landing and a historic chapter of Naval Aviation history came to a poetic close. CODs forever and Fly Navy!

Beautiful!

My first astrophotography workshop of the 2026 season is coming up on April 18th at the Paint Mines in Calhan, CO. I have just three spots left, and I'd love to have you join me for an exciting experience in an otherwordly landscape. The photo below shows what tthe Milky Way looks like at this time of the year as it arches over the largest hoodoos in the park. The registration link is in the comments.
