I fell down a Hank Williams rabbit hole. 🤷🏼‍♀️

In just 29 years, he became one of country music’s greatest influences—while living a life marked by pain, addiction and heartbreak. He was even dismissed from the Grand Ole Opry just months before his death.

There’s something fascinating about a life being so successful and so turbulent at the same time.

I’ve been spending more time on the details of each piece ESPECIALLY the vases. Each one reflects an inspiration I gathered on my trip from AZ➡️NM➡️CO.

This might be my favorite piece (so far) of my ceramics journey 🙊

This piece depicts Michel Pablo, whose herd played a crucial role in saving the American bison from extinction. At a time when buffalo had nearly disappeared, Pablo helped grow and preserve one of the last great herds—one so influential that over 80% of plains bison today are estimated to descend from the Pablo-Allard herd. A pretty incredible piece of Western history.

A little behind the scenes of the process- the best part about ceramics is that you never know how it’ll turn out.. but these turned out more like the sketch than I thought they would. Which is such a WIN!
