A little flashback to some of our past Straw Hat Art Co paint & sips.

This is what these nights are really about. People show up saying they’re “not artists,” sit down with a blank canvas, and a couple hours later everyone’s laughing, comparing paintings, and leaving with something completely their own.

Join us at Games & Grub at 6 PM for our One Piece Devil Fruit Paint & Sip. You’ll create your own Devil Fruit, and I’ll walk everyone through the painting process step by step.

No painting experience needed. Tickets are $35 and include all supplies.

Tickets are on sale now through Eventbrite. Grab yours before Sunday and come paint with us.

Been wanting to do this one for a while.

A lot of the inspiration behind my next Straw Hat Art Co class came from the One Piece pieces I've collected from Bear Walker. I love the idea of taking something from a series you care about and turning it into a piece of art you'd actually want hanging on your wall.

So on September 20th, we're doing exactly that.

Paint Your Own Devil Fruit September 20 | 6–9 PM
Games & Grub — Pensacola
$35 | All supplies included

Instead of everyone painting the same thing, you choose your own Devil Fruit when you get your ticket, and I'll have your canvas ready for you.

This is my Gum-Gum Fruit piece alongside a few of the Bear Walker pieces that helped inspire the idea — including my 1 of 250 Gum-Gum coin.

Bear Walker, figured you might appreciate this one.

Tickets are in my bio.

Chasing the Horizon was a success!

We came together for a Wile E. Coyote paint night… and somehow I was the only person who actually painted a cartoon character.

Everyone else went full desert landscape, and I kind of love it. Same starting point, six completely different paintings.

Huge thank you to everyone who came out to Games and Grub and spent the night painting with Straw Hat Art Co. This was such a fun group, and seeing everyone put their own spin on the painting is easily one of my favorite parts of teaching these.

The Road Runner may have escaped everyone else’s canvas, but we still caught a pretty great group photo.

More paint nights coming soon.

Hey neighbors! My name is Zechariah Hilles, and I run a little local art business here in Pensacola called Straw Hat Art Co. I host beginner-friendly Paint & Sip nights around town, and I wanted to introduce myself and invite some of my actual neighbors out to the next one.

This Sunday, September 6 at 6 PM, we’re painting a Wile E. Coyote-inspired desert scene at Games & Grub. It’s a laid-back step-by-step painting night, and you absolutely do not need to consider yourself an artist to come out and have a good time. All of the supplies are included.

One of the things I’m trying to do with Straw Hat Art Co. is make these feel like genuine little community events instead of just another class. Come paint, meet some people who live nearby, have a drink or some food, and leave with something you made yourself.

If you’re local and like this kind of thing, I’d also really appreciate a follow over at Straw Hat Art Co. That’s where I post upcoming paintings and events.

Would love to see some fellow neighborhood people there on Sunday!

Come paint, grab some food and drinks, and spend Sunday night chasing the horizon with us.

I’ve been wanting to do a Looney Tunes paint night for a while, and this one finally felt right.

We’re painting Chasing the Horizon — a colorful desert scene with Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner tearing down the highway.

I’ll walk everyone through the painting step by step, so you absolutely do not need to know how to paint. Come grab some food and a drink from Games & Grub, hang out for a couple hours, and leave with your own version of the chase.

Sunday, September 6th at 6PM
Games & Grub
$35 all painting supplies included

Seats are limited, so grab yours ahead of time through the QR code or Eventbrite.

Tonight at 6 PM — we’re getting weird with cubism.

This week’s Straw Hat Art Co. Paint & Sip is Katia Grim, inspired by her description in Dungeon Crawler Carl.

We’ll be painting Katia looking into a potion bottle, trying to piece her face together in a fractured Juan Gris–style cubist portrait.

And don’t worry if cubism sounds intimidating — every canvas is already pre-sketched, so you can jump straight into painting, experimenting with color, and making it your own.

Tonight | 6 PM
Games & Grub
$30 per person
All painting supplies included
Limited to 20 seats

Come paint something a little strange, a little nerdy, and very Katia.
