🌳 THE SAGA OF THE OREGON OLIVEWOOD TABLE IS FINALLY COMPLETE! 🌳

You’ve been following along with this beauty for a while now, and we’re thrilled to say that we finally put the finishing touches on it tonight! 🙌

From raw slab to finished piece, this one has been quite the journey. Here’s a little footage showing the process from start to finish, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

🦾 Steel legs from our friends at ECon Welding
🛡️ Nano ceramic coating from Pourla Epoxy Resin

But this table has a purpose beyond looking beautiful. ❤️

We’re donating this piece to Furst Friends Organization for their annual Friendsgiving fundraiser! We hope it helps raise a good sum for this fantastic LOCAL nonprofit that does so much good in our community.

At McClellan Legacy Studio, we believe craftsmanship is about more than creating beautiful things. It’s also about giving back to the community that supports us.

We can’t wait to see what this piece helps accomplish! 🐾❤️

🔥 SLABATHOR: THIS MACHINE IS A BEAST. 🔥

🌿 This Oregon Olive is starting to show us what she’s got! 🌿

We got this beauty back on the Slabathor to take off the final layers and get her prepped for finishing. And let us tell you… this one is shaping up to be quite the statement piece! 🔥

The grain, character, and natural movement in this Oregon Olive are really starting to shine as we uncover more of the slab.

She’s definitely taking shape, and we can’t wait to see this one come to life through the final stages.

We have a confession to make… 👀

We’ve been working on this one behind your back. 😂

We’ll admit it — lamps were WAY outside our comfort zone, and we honestly considered this one an experiment. There was a lot of trial and error, plenty of “back to the drawing board,” and more than a few moments of wondering if we were actually going to pull it off.

But we couldn’t be happier with the final result. ❤️

This one-of-a-kind lamp is crafted from cherry, paired with a stained juniper base, and finished with a beautiful Pendleton Wool back covering. Topping it all off is a gorgeous Voronoi bulb from Tala Lighting which really brings the whole piece to life.

And we’re not going to lie… it’s giving us some serious Sorting Hat vibes. 🎩✨ We’re not sure which house it belongs to yet, but we’re pretty sure it has some magic in it. 😂

We’re pretty proud of this one — and now we just need to find it a forever home. 🏡

🌳🔥 This one is going to be BIG!

We’re pouring this giant olive slab, and we’ve got some pretty special plans for this one! This slab has some incredible character, and we can’t wait to watch it come to life.

There’s still a long way to go, but when it’s finished, this is going to be one serious statement piece—the kind of table that demands attention and deserves a special place in someone’s home. 🏡✨

Stay tuned as we take you through the process from pour to finished piece. We’ll share the good, the bad, and probably a little bit of “What did we get ourselves into?” along the way. 😂

The process behind the pour! 🔨🪵✨

Before the resin ever hits the mold, there’s a LOT of prep work that goes into one of our tables.

It’s a long process, but seeing everything come together makes every step worth it. This table is already starting to show us just how special it’s going to be! 🔥

✨ The finish is going on! ✨

We’re putting the finishing touches on our latest table build with Chimiver LED Hardwax Oil, and this beauty is really starting to come to life!

There’s something about seeing the grain pop and the character of the wood come through once the finish hits it. 🤎

Once we get the legs on this one, it’s going to be one beautiful table—and ready to find its forever home!
