Teddi Designs - Hand Knit Fashion Accessories On September 27, 2022, I had a heart attack at the age of 55. The long hours—often 10 to 14 a day—and the constant stress from my job had taken their toll.

ve side as a way to unwind and de-stress after the grind of each day. In my younger years, I designed and sewed my own clothes, and crafted various gifts using counted cross-stitch. I loved every moment of it. So, I decided to teach myself to knit. Just like I was drawn to fabric all those years ago, I quickly found myself captivated by the beauty of yarn—the colors, patterns, and textures. It was impossible not to fall in love. I don’t typically follow patterns, preferring instead to watch videos and add my own flair to each product. I want my items to stand out, whether through a special twist or a unique detail. My creations are versatile, practical, warm, and stylish—and I truly put “Love and Care in Every Stitch.” My goal, always, is to make products that are SIMPLE, MEMORABLE, AND AFFORDABLE.

Funny story from the early days of my knitting. I needed a relaxing hobby to unwind at the end of the day, given my stressful career, so I taught myself to knit.

I started with a basic scarf and inexpensive yarn, assuming it was foolproof. I got so carried away and proud of myself that I didn’t notice it had grown to over five feet long. Turns out, giving a ten-year-old a custom-made, five-foot python of yarn is less of a cozy gift and more of a walking disaster!
