So I can really use some prayers at this time! I had surgery on Tuesday to remove a tumor from a bone in my dominant hand that had been fractured earlier this year in a car accident. Recovery has not been smooth. And since it’s affecting my dominant hand, I can’t sew right now! But, I’m planning a huge return in the next few weeks when this splint comes off!!

That being said, what do you want to see in the first Dilly Drop? And don’t forget! I always have a lineup of items ready to grab at Market on Market Paxton, IL! Make sure you check out my booth as well as the multiple other vendors available!

My name is Dallas Thompson, lots of you know me from my endeavors to improve mental health through journaling with A Dose of Dal! While that part of my life continues, I have chosen to also share my love for sewing!

Hey Dilly Handmade is a small-town sewing business based in Paxton, Illinois, where every piece is thoughtfully handmade and truly one of a kind. No mass production, no cookie-cutter creations…just unique, handcrafted pieces made with care, creativity, and a little bit of whimsy.

Now, our shop is not like the others! I want you to love each piece as much as I do, so we will have scheduled sign up opportunities for commissions as well as ready-to-pickup items through our Dilly Drops! Be on the lookout for those special posts because each piece is first come, first serve!
