Pawtucket, R.I. - August 30, 2026

While covering the Pawtucket Arts Festival, I needed something quick to eat before heading to my next event in Providence and stopped at The Burrito Bowl food truck.

It was my first time trying them, this is not any paid promo, I just always like to give credit where credit is due especially when it comes to restaurants and those in the food service industry.

I ordered the chicken burrito with rice, beans, pico, cheese and Sriracha mayo. It was really good!! Everything tasted fresh, the chicken had plenty of flavor, very filling and it was definitely worth the stop.

I spent years in food service and at one point ran multiple Taco Bell locations, so I can tell you the difference between mass produced fast food and something made fresh locally. The quality here isn't even comparable. I always say its worth spending a little more for local, high quality food.

I also learned a little more about The Burrito Bowl afterward. Owner Edward is an East Providence native who opened the business about six years ago, and the company has remained heavily connected to the community through local events, school fundraisers and catering. Their menu has also expanded beyond burritos to tacos, quesadillas, salads, wings, Soul Food dishes and Seafood Fridays.

They now operate multiple food trucks along with three locations:

The Burrito Bowl
809 Broadway, East Providence, RI

The Burrito Bowl To-Go
342 Winthrop St, Taunton, MA
Located Inside the Mobile Gas Station

The Burrito Bowl ReFuel
100 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI
Located Inside R1 Indoor Karting

If you see their food truck at a community event or happen to be near one of their locations, definitely worth giving them a try. They also offering catering if you'd like to have your next school, work or home event catered. Check out their website: https://www.theburritobowl.com/

Supporting local businesses matters, especially businesses that turn around and stay involved in the same communities supporting them.
