Just to let everyone know we are on task for Feb 22nd. Board will meet after this cold snap as we have invited new artists to join us and the Board need to review applications.

Marketing will start in earnest in Feb after the computer FB training class ( which is being moved due to extreme cold snap).

Heads up
The Historic Blue Rose Art Exhibit now has its own "Page". I converted an old unused Art Page I had and changed its name to do this.

This gave us 1500 instant arts followers, a place for you publicly advertise for the Blue Rose Exhibit (by tagging using the astrand function key (@) and highlighting the pages name when your at the event, AND it allows us to create an event under the Blue Rose Logo.

So, here is the link to the new page. For those of you who have been invited to Exhibit at the Blue Rose , you can go to the Page and introduce yourself - HIGHLY recommended. In fact, it is required that all Exhibitors participate in the marketing.

There is going to be a FB training session there at the Blue Rose on the 22nd. I will get Ramonica Plishett to get a post up on the new page. Phil and Herbert Pursley kindly offered the facility to do that training at no cost for the facility. The cost of the class is $49 and that is paid to Ramonica when you register for the class. The class is open to anyone to attend and there will be businesses sending representatives to take the class along with artists from across the art circuit.

There is an Open Artists call for Artists to apply for the Blue Rose exhibit. If you know a qualified artist - ask them to message the page directly. Phyllis Beiser has been working hard to invite artists to apply BUT it's up to the Blue Rose to determine who is selected by a Board Phil has created.
