Autograph sessions, character meet and greets, performances, accompanied by a light lunch. RFK is a fabulous organization that works to provide positive experiences for children in our local Foster Care System by providing well-trained, compassionate volunteer staff that endeavors to bring love, stability, and fun to the lives of hurt, abandoned and neglected children. The entire staff of RFK from the Directors, Counselors, drama, teen staff, lifeguards, and coaches are volunteers who come back year after year because they recognize that their involvement makes a difference for these little ones. Our event began as a mother/daughter tea with 220 guests, to a Fairy Tale Ball which includes many of our favorite fairy tale characters from literature and the movies. Our event, like RFK, is entirely volunteer driven and our volunteers devote thousands of hours in preparation for this event. From costuming, rehearsals, scripts, scouring the streets and internet for possible donations our Fairy Tale Ball is a gift of love for our guests, and for the local Foster community as well as our Tri-City community. Our goal is to create a fun filled, memorable and inspirational event for our guests. We continue every year to improve our authenticity in costuming, and characterizations.
