🌞This recent heat has us thinking back to Renée Reizman’s cyanotype 101 skillshare from 2024! These brilliant blues were created with light sensitive chemicals exposed to the sun, causing a photographic process.

Interested in cyanotype? We have an upcoming FREE Skillshare led by our Teaching Artist Salvador De La Torre who will be hosting “Native Plants Cyanotype”, Saturday, October 24th from 10 am - 1 pm. 💙

Friendly reminder this Sunday is the “People’s Free Picnic” at the lower area of Loma Alta Park from 3-6 pm! We are excited to bring back Our People’s Free Market— donate any item you wish to re-home such as clothes, shoes, electronics, musical instruments, art materials and kitchenware. 👖👟📷🥁🎨🔪

Join us! Pack a chair or blanket to relax on, and enjoy connecting with artists, community members, and Altadena/Pasadena cultural advocates.

It is potluck style— bring any food item you wish to share with others. 🧺🍓

🪵🪚Looking for an enriching and creative after school activity for your kid? Grab a hammer and a saw, and build a wooden project from scratch!

Join us for a FREE six-week woodworking series, in partnership with the Altadena Library and held at its temporary location at Loma Alta Park.
