Our name may sound lighthearted and we may not take ourselves too seriously, but our music is infused with soul and meaning! We, The MacMammals, are acoustic performers whose focus is the blending of vocal harmonies applied to traditional and contemporary acoustic music from Ireland, the British Isles, and North America. We mix up a musical stew and season it with a touch of bluegrass and a health
y salting of Songs of the Sea. We endeavor to find the finest ear-pleasing melodies that are rarely heard in live performances. Our vocal and instrumental arrangements result in a musical evolution that is uniquely "MacMammalian." The MacMammals maintain a "stable" of very experienced and talented guest artists who frequently perform with us. These include vocalists and musicians skilled on bass, fiddle, banjo, Celtic flute, tin whistle, and Uilleann pipes. We have performed at Celtic fairs, Highland Games, fundraisers, civic concerts, and private events.
