So a few of you have said I've been pretty quiet of late. You're not hearing from me. I'm not posting. Have I been abducted by aliens? Did I join a secret cult?! Did I go back to work FULL-TIME!?!?!?!?! NO to all those. So, here's proof of life. If you know me, then you can pick me out of this group on tour at the Akron Museum of Art. Yes, I have been focused on some 'thing' and yes, I'll share soon what that is. Very soon😉 . . .

Hello Everybody! Are you looking for something to do this Fri Oct 4th that's both fun for you and helpful for others? Then head over to for the "In the Pink Show" a benefit for .

Local artists both professional like myself and nonprofessional have created & donated works of art on 6x6" stretched canvas to be raffled during October which is . The show opens Fri Oct 4th 5:30-7:30pm with a Wine & Cheese Reception. With 50 works in two galleries you're bound to find a couple you'd love to win.

The raffle continues through Oct with 100% of the proceeds going to The Gathering Place. To learn how programs support current and former cancer patients and their families visit www.touchedbycancer.org.

So you might have noticed I'm showing works in both the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center - CVAC Floral & Landscape Exhibition in Cuyahoga Falls AND Akron WAL: Women's Art League Membership Exhibition at Summer Exhibitions Opening Night at Summit Artspace In Akron. AND because you're smarter than the average bear you saw both Exhibits are having their Artist Receptions tomorrow evening Friday July 12th. So, 'Where's Waldo (aka Sue Holick) going to be?' The answer is Summit Artspace from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Want to get your steps in then check out all 5 galleries, OR just a few steps inside is WAL's Exhibit. Free parking! Hope to see ya!!

My watercolor "Priceless" sold at the close of Summit Artspace's "In The Shadow" Exhibition last week. Color me 'Tickled Pink!!' 🎨

I am thrilled and honored to be showing "A Rainy Day In Paris II" in Cuyahoga Valley Art Center - CVAC's "Floral & Landscape" Exhibition open now through July 12. "A Rainy Day" was selected by the Juror as one of a handful of photographic media appearing in this exhibit. 📸

With Summit Artspace – I just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉 Have you checked out the In The Shadow Exhibition on display now through June 14th, Fridays 12-7 and Saturdays 11-5? The exhibit and all of Summit Artspace will be open till 9pm on Fri June 14th during Akron ArtWalk. Stop in to view four floors of galleries after lunch or before dinner to get your steps in. 😎

I'm excited to share my piece Priceless is appearing in this exhibition. It's a callback to the '70's Mastercard commercial where the voice-over would list material items and their price, then the unique event they were purchased for with the tagline, Priceless. Here Mastercard's logo doubles as the eclipse in process. Check the exhibit out when you visit Summit Artspace
