Instructor highlight -- Morgan has been part of the Community Mud family since the very first class, and her passion for art has inspired countless students and members along the way! ✨ While you’ll usually find her teaching wheel classes, we’re excited to hopefully add some sculpture classes with her in the near future. We truly can’t say enough good things about Morgan—she’s incredibly talented, endlessly encouraging, and an absolute joy to learn from. We're so lucky to have her on our team! 💕 If you haven't taken a class with her yet, you're missing out—you'll just have to see for yourself. 🥰🎉

Bio: "I am the current Sculpture and beginning Ceramics teacher at the local High School. I have been in Parker for the majority of my life, went to school here, graduated from college and returned here to live and be a permanent part of the community. I have seen the Parker community expand into being an up-and-coming hub.
Art has always been the passion that I had. I have always found that art feeds my soul and has been a part of my self-expression for years. I found that in my personal practice I am exploring joy in creation by diving head first into the human experience. Living life is a true art form; so how do I capture those joys into something physical? In my ceramics, joy comes from oversized organic pots, and mugs inspired by the natural world."

Conifer has been teaching all levels of pottery on the wheel at Community Mud since June 2024. We are so grateful for her great attitude, amazing breadth of knowledge, and unceasing patience. You're the best, Conifer!! ❤️

About Conifer:
"Bitten by the ceramic bug in high school, I continued my art education at the local art center. Soon I was helping in the studio, loading kilns, making clay, and mixing glazes. Eventually I taught classes and was selling my work at art festivals. I felt teaching was my calling, so I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts and became a professor. Now retired from that position, I am full circle, enjoying the material of clay and teaching at Community Mud.
