Veritas Productions & Theatre Arts

Veritas Productions & Theatre Arts Veritas Productions is a female-founded and led, multi-faceted, full-service, non-profit, theatrical production company.

Veritas Productions specializes in taking any production from conception to realization. We partner with Colorado's finest directors, designers, choreographers, public relations and marketing experts, and our community leaders, bringing a deep need for meaningful art, flawless ex*****on, and exquisite talent to our audiences. We can manage an entire project from start to finish or consult and hire

any facet of a fully staged production of any size. Veritas Productions LLC was established in 2021 by Nancy Evans Begley, Producing Artistic Director, who oversees all operations and artistic vision for the company, as well as all contracts. The company name was a collaborative infusion of the need for truth and transparency in the creative and performing arts, hence Veritas, the Latin word for truth: “Truth is mighty and will prevail.” For all of you Potterheads out there, it’s also why Veritaserum has the name it does - the truth potion! VP Theatre Arts was founded by Nancy Evans Begley in March 2025 as a nonprofit subsidiary of Veritas Productions. VP Theatre Arts is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, enriching communities throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. Our Board of Directors, led by President Noah Begley, governs the operations of VP Theatre Arts.

We MEANT it when we said there is Denver Theatre Royalty in the cast of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. 👑🎄

Veritas Productions & Theatre Arts is beyond grateful to have THE John Ashton and Dame Deb Persoff starring as General Henry Waverly and Martha Watson this holiday season!

These two are not simply extraordinary actors. They are pillars of the Colorado theatre community, with decades of artistry, storytelling, mentorship, and unforgettable performances between them. And BOTH have been honored with the Colorado Theatre Guild Henry Award for Lifetime Achievement in Theatre.

John’s remarkable career has included The Nance at The Edge Theatre, Dearly Departed and Sylvia at The Avenue Theater, The Fantasticks at Littleton Town Hall, The Seafarer at Aurora Fox, Every Brilliant Thing at Vintage Theatre, and the original 1986 cast of Murder Most Fowl at The Avenue Theater. His work has also extended beyond the stage, including a National Jewish Hospital television campaign and an appearance on Breaking Bad opposite Bryan Cranston.

Dame Deb’s celebrated body of work includes Eleanor, Follies, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Looped, The Inheritance, Grey Gardens, Harold and Maude, 4000 Miles, Fireflies, Driving Miss Daisy, August: Osage County, and the award-winning Rabbit Hole. Her work has been recognized by Best of Westword, the Colorado Theatre Guild Henry Awards, the Marlowe Awards, True West Awards, and OnStage Colorado.

And somehow, WE get to put these two onstage together as General Waverly and Martha Watson. ❤️

To say we are honored is an understatement.

Colorado theatre audiences know exactly how special these two are. If you don’t yet, you’re about to find out.

There is nothing better than watching two performers who already trust each other hit the dance floor. ✨

Meet our dynamic dancing duo, Dallas Slankard and Cory Klements, starring as Judy Haynes and Phil Davis in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas this holiday season!

And this is far from their first dance together. You’re seeing Dallas and Cory here sharing the stage in Vintage Theatre’s Cinderella a few years ago, and Colorado audiences have seen plenty of both of them since.

Around town, you may remember Dallas from Nice Work If You Can Get It, Legally Blonde, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Sophisticated Ladies, and First Date.

And Cory from Brigadoon, Oklahoma!, CATS, Legally Blonde, Newsies, and A Chorus Line, where he shared the stage with our Executive Producer, Nancy Evans Begley, as the Bobby/Sheila duo!

Talent abounds with these two. They are charismatic, athletic, funny, and boy, can they DANCE. 💃🏻🕺🏻

This holiday season, you’ll see Dallas and Cory take on two of the most iconic dance moments in White Christmas: the dreamy “The Best Things Happen While You’re Dancing” and the show-stopping tap favorite “I Love a Piano.”

Phil and Judy require chemistry, comedy, charm, and some SERIOUS dancing chops.

We’ve got ’em. ❄️🎹❤️

Come see Dallas and Cory light up the Schoolhouse stage in Parker this holiday season!

From chauvinistic boss and long-suffering subordinate… to Bob Wallace and Betty Haynes. 😂❤️

Oh, theatre.

Keith Hershman and Nancy Evans Begley recently shared the stage in 9 to 5, with Keith playing the spectacularly awful Franklin Hart and Nancy as Violet Newstead, one of the women determined to put him in his place.

Now, they’re trading workplace warfare for Irving Berlin, snow, romance, and one of musical theatre’s most charming pairings as Bob and Betty in White Christmas! 🎄

We LOVE the way theatre relationships create opportunities, friendships, and completely unexpected chances to tell new stories together. One production you’re adversaries. The next, you’re falling in love in Vermont. ❤️

You absolutely do not want to miss Keith Hershman Keith Hershman and Nancy Evans Begley Nancy Evans Begley together again this holiday season!

There is something about Downtown Parker at Christmastime that simply feels like home. ✨🎄

And this year, we get to add a little more magic.

For the first time in Parker, Veritas Productions & Theatre Arts is bringing Irving Berlin’s White Christmas to the stage, and we truly cannot imagine a more perfect home for it than the historic Schoolhouse on Mainstreet.

Originally opened in 1915 as the Parker Consolidated School, this beautiful building once welcomed Parker’s students in grades 1–12. More than a century later, it remains a gathering place for our community, now filled with music, theatre, art, and storytelling.

There is something wonderfully full-circle about bringing a story steeped in 1940s nostalgia, song-and-dance, community, generosity, and coming home into a building that has watched Parker grow for more than 110 years.

Then step outside.

Historic Mainstreet. Twinkle lights. Storefronts dressed for the season. A crisp Colorado evening. The charm of Downtown Parker during the holidays. And, tucked inside this beautiful old Schoolhouse, Irving Berlin’s music filling an intimate theatre.

Honestly, could White Christmas belong anywhere else? ❤️

We have dreamed about this production for a very long time, and we are beyond excited to create something that feels less like simply attending a musical and more like stepping into a nostalgic hometown Christmas card.

We cannot wait to welcome you home for the holidays.

Our hearts are broken.

Veritas Productions & Theatre Arts joins millions around the world in mourning the loss of a true national treasure, the incomparable Dolly Parton.

Dolly was so much more than an iconic country musician, songwriter, performer, and storyteller. She was a humanitarian in the truest sense of the word. She used her extraordinary success to lift others, champion literacy, support communities in need, advance healthcare, and remind generations of people that kindness and conviction can coexist.

She loved people. All people.

She called it like it was, but somehow always managed to do so with humor, grace, warmth, and unmistakable Dolly conviction. She never seemed interested in dividing us. She reminded us of the things that connect us.

For those of us who make theatre, tell stories, sing songs, and believe that art can make the world a little brighter, Dolly represented something extraordinary. She was unapologetically herself. Brilliant. Funny. Fearless. Generous. Resilient. And profoundly, beautifully human.

She was everything that is good and right in this world.

What an immeasurable legacy she leaves behind, not simply in the songs we will sing for generations, but in the millions of lives made better because Dolly Parton was here.

Thank you for the music. Thank you for the laughter. Thank you for the books, the generosity, the courage, the rhinestones, and above all, the love.

We will always love you, Dolly. 🤍

Rest beautifully, Dolly Parton. Your light will never go out.
