As we honor the day that marked the end of slavery in the United States, we also recognize the importance of preserving history, uplifting communities, and inspiring future generations to lead.

That is why the opening of the Obama Presidential Center on Juneteenth is such a powerful moment. The Center stands as a place to learn, reflect, and be inspired by the values of leadership, service, and civic engagement.

From memorial spaces to courts, parks, and creative hubs, the visit highlighted how intentional spaces can create opportunity, preserve culture, and support youth through leadership, wellness, arts, sports, and technology.
