It was an honor to be invited to a special screening of Project Hail Mary — so good seeing Phil Lord again. He co-directed with Chris Miller - these two are so wildly talented. The first time we crossed paths was during Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse - another great movie!

I absolutely loved Project Hail Mary. Surprisingly funny, deeply heartfelt, and beautifully crafted. Ryan is fantastic. I honestly didn’t know what to expect — especially with the alien — and I loved how it all played out. I’m officially a Rocky fan.

Shoutout to Daniel Pemberton for the incredible score, and to Kier Lehman and the music team for a beautifully crafted soundtrack. Saw it in IMAX - this needs to be seen on the big screen. I needed this movie right now 🥰

1991 - 2 Unlimited’s “Get Ready For This” dropped. 35 years ago.

I happened to scroll past this reel of Ray Slijngaard (from 2 Unlimited) revisiting the video that helped launch them “Get Ready For This” 34 years later and it instantly took me back.

I promoted this record at radio stations when I was Senior Director of Promotion & Marketing at Critique Records, introducing it nationwide to radio stations and to sports teams as a game-day anthem.

The results:
• Billboard Hot 100 Top 40
• #2 on the UK Singles Chart
• Part of a catalog with 18M+ records sold worldwide
• Still a staple in sports arenas decades later

Fast forward and… it’s still everywhere! Who would have thought - so cool!

I always forget about Burning Man until… and here we are, right on schedule. Do I make an effort to go? No... probably because I've heard it’s a mess. BUT I've also heard it’s life-changing. So maybe I'll see you guys out there one day! Anyone who's going - have a great time!

Special screening of “Desperately Seeking Susan” tonight on the big screen for its 40th anniversary 🌟

It was great to hear from and meet legendary producers Midge Sanford and Sarah Pillsbury, and executive producer Michael Peyser.

This film helped launch Madonna’s acting career (she blew up during the filming of it), changed the fashion game, and gave us one of the best soundtracks of the ‘80s — with “Into the Groove” and more. Credit for music supervision and soundtrack by Danny Goldberg and Tim Sexton. It was great learning about how Madonna brought in the title track on a cassette tape diring filming, and that Stephen Bray co-wrote and produced it. One of my favorite songs of the 80s!

Also so many amazing cameos including a young John Turturro, Giancarlo Esposito, Laurie Metcalf, and Aidan Quinn!

Behind the iconic style — costume designer Santo Loquasto. He was responsible for the film’s iconic fashion — most famously, Madonna’s embellished pyramid jacket, which became a symbol of downtown NYC street style in the ’80s. Loquasto’s work on the film had a major cultural impact, influencing fashion trends and helping define Madonna’s early image. The original jacket even sold at auction in 2014 for $252,000.

Now the movie officially part of the National Film Registry — well deserved.

So fun reminiscing on the era and locations in New York, and soaking in some major 1980s glam and grit. If you ever get the chance to see this one on the big screen — do it!

My dear friend Pablo, who I’ve known since middle school, joined me on a last-minute adventure tonight after our high school reunion venue canceled—just one week out. 👎

Quick pivot and hit the ground running - secured a new venue tonight, and ended the night at a hidden gem of a karaoke bar in Sherman Oaks. Pablo crushed a Roy Orbison classic while I provided enthusiastic (and very off-key) moral support from the sidelines. Trust me—no one wants me on the mic. 😂 Fun! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
