As South Florida’s original dedicated short film festival, MIAMIsFF continues to shine a light on captivating, innovative, and culturally diverse films from around the world—each 20 minutes or less. Over the past quarter-century, our mission has remained unwavering: to build and inspire a passionate community of short film enthusiasts, while elevating filmmakers whose stories push boundaries and capture the essence of the human experience. Year-round, MIAMIsFF hosts monthly screenings at venues across the city, culminating in our acclaimed multi-day annual festival. Each year, thousands of attendees gather in Miami to experience 40–50 exceptional short films selected from over 600 submissions. Films are thoughtfully curated into thematic categories that reflect the depth, diversity, and creativity of our global filmmaking community.
