If you go to the totith.org website to sign-up to volunteer or pass out candy just be aware that the date has not changed from last year. I have made them aware of this. The correct date is 13 Sep 2026 the times are correct

We will be going through the neighborhood tomorrow the 29th passing out the flyers forTrick or Treat in the Heat. We will be starting around 9 but if the weather is still bad then we will push it to Sunday.

For Volunteers to pass out the flyers we will meet this Sat morning by the mailbox clusters on Crowther at 9 am.

Good evening, I have received the flyers this afternoon, I will be out and about tomorrow setting out the yard signs along the entrances to the hood. I will also be placing banners beside the mailbox clusters on Crowther and Caulkins. Hopefully with enough volunteers we can get the flyers done in one trip. Please let me know if you can assist and what day and time works. Also if any house would still like to volunteer to pass out candy please let me know so I can get the maps done.

Updates on the Trick or Treat in the Heat event. Wristband sales are currently planned to start online at totith.org about Wednesday the 19th, with in-store pickups at the Spirit Halloween stores starting not before Friday the 21st. If you are still interested in participating please let me know so I can add you to the map.

Hot of the press from tonight's meeting.

1. Spirit of Halloween store will be open in the old Joanns store in Wasilla around the 14th of August.

2. Event time confirmation is as follows the kickoff party starts at 4:30 PM and the door to door is from 5-7 PM

3. Wristbands will be available on the totith.org website on 17 Aug.

4. This year we will having be having Totally Sweet Treats ice cream bus as well as Exquisite Urban Taste food truck

Started in 2005 to give a terminally-ill five-year-old one last Trick or Treat, Trick or Treat in the Heat has grown into a beloved memorial fundraiser supporting Hospice of Anchorage, Make-A-Wish Alaska & Washington, and the Seattle and Anchorage Ronald McDonald Houses.
