“Hope is ahead, even when it doesn't feel like it. No matter how heavy your heart, how tired your spirit, or how long you have walked in the wrong direction, a better path is still open to you. The moment you choose to press forward with honesty and strength, life can begin to change. Freedom is not lost forever, it is only waiting to be reclaimed.
“Attachments rarely announce themselves as danger. They arrive disguised as love, purpose, comfort, or identity. It feels safe at first. Familiar. Necessary. But in time, the very thing we cling to begins to close in on us. What once gave warmth slowly becomes the walls of a cell.
“We do not fall into these prisons. We build them. One compromise at a time. One fear at a time. One unchecked desire at a time. We bind ourselves to people who cannot meet us, to roles that exhaust us, to stories about who we are supposed to be. Then we wonder why we feel trapped.
“The harsh truth is also the hopeful one: the cage is yours, and so is the key. No one else locked you in. No one else has the power to release you. A man is never imprisoned by circumstance, only by the meaning he assigns to it.
“When your peace depends on how others act, what you own, or how the world treats you, you are no longer free.
“Dependency is not devotion. It is surrender.
If you hunger for freedom, know that freedom is not found in controlling life, but in loosening your grip on it. Learning how to let go will help you choose to live unchained.”
