When I initially chat with couples, we usually discuss their plans to-date. For each couple that looks different, since they're contacting us at different stages in the planning process.

A bit of advice that I always offer to couples, regardless of if they book with us or not, is that there are 3 vendors you want to book based equally on their skill AND personality: your photographer, your planner, and your entertainment/DJ. Your photographer will be like your shadow on your wedding day, trailing behind you for 8-10 hours, so you want to be sure you get along with them. Your Planner is the person that you'll be chatting with the most throughout your planning so you want to be sure that you guys get along extremely well and that you TRUST them to properly guide you. Your entertainment/DJ is responsible for the success of your reception since you're trusting them to host the best party of your life.

Selecting the right vendor doesn't only come down to pricing, because you can find an inexpensive vendor with really bad quality vs. a slightly more expensive vendor with amazing qualityโฆin the long run itโs the quality that truly counts.
