Plein air from Thursday McKee Botanical Garden. I love their little stone bridge. Everyone does! I had to finish this at home - I forgot my umbrella and was starting to be fry after 3 hours in the sun. I start on a violet canvas very close to the value of the water to balance the greenery.

- even anchored boats keep moving... These boats turned 180* every few minutes. I knew they would move some but this was like a metronome! I stopped after a couple hours and wandered around to see how everyone else's paintings. Then we all picnicked and talked art. Not a bad day at all. There was also a basilisk lizard - that was a first.

Went back to Tangelo house with the group to do my first plein air "nocturne" I loved it. I would have been ainting past midnight if the rain and lightning hadn't started creeping in. My work and others will be presented diring an open house from 1-5pm June 17th. Then we clear out and leave it to the paranormal seekers.

Treasure Coast Plein Air yesterday at Tangelo House - It was built in the 1920's and being renovated now. Our group got a little tour and will be displaying work at the unveiling on June 17. Tangelo House was declared the most haunted house in Florida - but I thought it was lovely. Very good vibes. Mixed Media with Acrylics
