Two of my framed prints, "Buoys" and "Dreams of Scotland" are for sale on the Peninsula Art League gallery wall inside the PenMet Parks Recreation Center. There's lots of beautiful art from many talented artists! It's worth taking time to check out!

I am very excited that my watercolor painting, "Hurray for Summer!" was invited to the Peninsula Art League Summer Member's Art Show at the Sehmel Park Pavilion this coming weekend! There are so many booths with art for sale in the park, and then almost 50 pieces for sale in the juried art show in the pavilion. It's a great event and venue!

I painted this on black watercolor paper with Gansai Tambi Kuretake paints. I left no borders, did not tape off, so I could not mat it. I finally ended up mounting it on cradle board, dealing with torn edges and buckling. 😳To save the painting, I had to paint right up to the bunny with black acrylic. Now I like it! Finally!

This is one of the most challenging paintings I have worked on lately and I can see it needs a few tweaks as I look at it now. I love the subject matter. It reminds me of some of the Abbeys my sisters and I saw in Scotland a few years ago.
