Hello everyone! I’ve been so crazy busy that I haven’t posted this last painting. This was commissioned for a birthday present. My cousin participated in the Last Paddler Standing competition in Florida. In his first time to compete with international competitors, he came in third place!! Pretty impressive!! The second painting was a previous commission for his brother. Happy Belated Birthday “boys”!

Those of you who know me well know that I’m a pack rat. Just today David told me I get a sentimental hold on “things”. (Not all things! 🙄😄 Just sentimental things! 😂) Not long ago while working on a commissioned house portrait I started thinking about my Grandparents house that used to sit at (literally) the intersection at NN and Hopedale Church.
If any friends or family might have a picture of it please let me know! I would love to paint it. ❣️ It was such a special place to so many people!
Back to me being a pack rat…. I was going through some drawing pads that I had saved, and came across one that was from when I was probably around 10-12 years old. It was a picture I had drawn of my Grandparents’ house!! I was drawing house portraits 50 years ago! Wow!
