Hip Hop Rebs is about fostering an inclusive environment through fun and open dance classes taught by fellow students! We hope to see you in class!

The president of Hip Hop Rebs, Kendrick Wallace, saw the need for a fun and interesting outlet for Ole Miss students to forget about the stresses of college life. Because he loved hip hop dance, he made it his mission to bring this style of dance on campus in the form of free classes. With the hard work of Kendrick Wallace (Pr), Elisha Rambin (VP), Darby Hennessey (Tr), and Chris Lofton (Sec), Hip Hop Rebs hopes to spread positivity on the UM campus with the genre of hip hop dance!

Tomorrow from 7-8pm we will be having our final dance work shop!! It will be in the commons area in RH. (like it was last semester) We’re excited and hoping to see all of you!!:) … oh and were dancing to B***y Wurk, so you can’t miss it!!💃🏻

IMPORTANT Hip Hop Rebs info:

Hi everyone! I know you haven’t heard from us in a while, and it is because we had to make a difficult decision. With only two graduating seniors left on the board and no one wanting to take over, we will have to end Hip Hop Rebs. This decision was not taken lightly, and we had hopped to find a solution other than this.

We have loved dancing with you guys for the past six years and cherish the friendships and laughs we have all shared. Hip Hop Rebs was and always will be a safe space for anyone who seeks community and spreads kindness. Every one of you has “added your own flavor,” as we say, to this club and we thank you for it. Wether you came once, every time, or just supported us from afar we appreciate you.

We hope you keep dancing and enjoying life and we wish you all the best. We will be having one last workshop on MARCH 24 to celebrate our time together. See you there!
