A huge THANK YOU to our Connections T-shirt Sponsor, Larry John Pavlica! 💜

Our Connections participants were so excited to receive their new shirts, and they have quickly become a favorite! Seeing the smiles, excitement, and sense of belonging these shirts bring means so much to all of us.

Because of generous community supporters like Larry John, we are able to continue creating meaningful experiences and opportunities for the individuals we serve.

Please join us in thanking Larry John for his generosity and support of The Arc of Mid-Michigan's Connections Program! 👏💜

Today, many of our nonprofit leaders across Shiawassee County came together for Executive Director networking in the Armory boardroom with a beautiful view of the Shiawassee River. This is an opportunity for these leaders to come together, provide support, and collaborate. We appreciate and honor all of these hard-working leaders who show up to build their organization's capacity! ❤

Reliable transportation opens the door to independence, employment, healthcare, and community involvement.

The Arc of Mid-Michigan proudly supports the renewal of the SATA funding millage because it helps ensure individuals with developmental disabilities have access to the transportation they depend on every day. For many of the people we serve, SATA is more than just a ride. It's a lifeline to work, medical appointments, programs, and meaningful connections within our community.

We encourage our community to support continued access to safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for everyone.

It’s hard to believe, but 70 years ago, our story began with a simple conversation. A group of parents met at Lemon School, shared a vision for what our community needed, and decided to build something together.

A lot has changed since those early days, but the foundation laid by those founding parents has kept us anchored every single day. We have weathered changing times, celebrated countless milestones, and grown in ways we never could have imagined.

As we look back on seven decades of history, we are filled with nothing but gratitude for everyone who has walked this path with us. Thank you for being a part of our legacy.
