Theatre Workshop of Owensboro’s Halloween production of Frankenstein 1930 will be holding auditions Sept 21 and 22nd! I am extremely honored to direct this play. I have huge plans and will be looking for huge personalities 😉

A little flashback on this bittersweet day… my grandmother passed away. She was a champion for my pursuit of theatre. And tonite my play Almost Americana is dedicated to her. Pictured below was the inspiration for this play. My brother and I visited Metropolis IL many years ago the second image is the very first place we took my son, where he won best personality. 💜 Those two visits are etched in my brain and will be for the rest of my life. Big News!!!! First of I want to give a huge shout out to everyone who came out and supported “A Death For All Seasons” we are now about a month removed from that amazing collaboration with Sage Movement. And it was everything I could have hoped for and more! I look forward to our next team up… I already have ideas bubbling to the surface. Speaking of ideas!! Next Friday and Saturday the 2026 STAGEtwo Productions Playwriting Workshop Showcase premieres. We are previewing 18 original works over 2 nights. Including “Almost Americana” my take on a golden sunset play involving the one and only US Jones. (Public domain character akin to Captain America) on Friday. one of these plays will be the selected as the closing play of the 26-27 Season at STAGEtwo. Come out and cast your vote! Putting a self imposed timeline on my next project, titled at this point in time “Almost Americana” I have 4 days to create a cohesive story that I can turn in for the playwriting workshop. If I cannot achieve this… well I just don’t know… but I have a prologue written set below ⬇️ in this world superheroes exist. The question I am asking is what happens when they are no longer needed???? What do they do in their retirement??? Well I have 4 days to figure it out. Here’s the sample

A couple of exciting things: the prequel Odyssey Guild: My Greatest Adventure was completed last night at 10:45 pm woot woot. This goes up in February. Now I am in the middle of my playwriting workshop piece called Almost Americana. I had the idea of a father/son bonding play. And I still may write that but I am also intrigued with seeing what happens when the world moves on without you… we will see what the page demands. Yes it is a pic of U.S. Jones superhero of the 1940s now in public domain… hmm 🤔

A final nod to an amazing production. Once again I have to thank Jaddyn Sage for tag teaming this play with me. It was a great success and we are already brainstorming more collaborations!! So keep an eye out! But until then here is your tease for the next Brailroad Production “Odyssey Guild: My Greatest Adventure” it is the prequel to the OG Saga and is a must see for any fans. Also it has a lot of heart. it is truly about a father and a daughter connecting through adventure and I cannot wait for you to see it… I will not lie as of this moment in time this is my most emotionally charged work it means a lot to me and I think people will really feel something deep and true in their own lives with this show… coming February 2027!!! And once more I want to give the biggest shout out to the cast and crew of “A Death for All Seasons” it will be a memory I will cherish for a lifetime… I hope you guys had as much fun as I did 💜 now on to the next one!!!
