It's amazing the transformation that details will make for a room.

This house has a story. I am thinking about writing a story to go with each book nook I create. The story would be a short story, one of a kind and not published anywhere except the book I print and bind myself. (These Book Nook story collections might find themselves in a collaboration publishing later, but the individual book that belongs with the Nook would be the only one)
What do you think? Are you ready for a story?
--Just to clarify, the story would be a fiction story that typically comes to me as i am creating these pieces. I like to think of the characters that would live in my scenes.

Today's tiny creation. It's going to find a home in the Nook i am currently working on.

Let me see a picture of your shadow. He is in a "I have to constantly touch you" mood today.

(Disclaimer before you come at me- Yes he is under weight and on a special diet. He is also 12 years old and has declined since his companion passed away last year.
If you prefer to send love his way, his name is Walter.)

Book Nook Collection Complete!
"Are you a Good or Bad Witch?"
"The complete Fortune Teller's Handbook"
"The Witch's Guide to Brooms and Wands"
"The Complete Apothecary Anthology"

Each one has its own unique light source. Love this series!

Coming up with a creative makeover for this piece is like coming up with a story. Without a story behind why these rooms are the way they are, there really isn't much inspiration there. So as i think of who lives in this house and their story, that will inspire me on how i want to decorate each room.
I know i will have from top to bottom, an attic, a library/living room, a kitchen, and a basement. But what each of these rooms hold will depend on the character that resides in my mind.

More to come...

Here it is. The complete apothecary. Complete with potions, crystals, and fairy lights. Love love love!

Adding fairy lights. Can't wait to show the final result!

Starting my final book nook in this witchy series! The complete apothecary! Already lined the walls and added a hidden magnet to help it stay closed. Next up, fairy lights and shelves.
