Ever have a streak of events that make you question whether evil art supply faeries truly exist????? OMgosh, sooooooooo many mistakes with suppliers this summer, AND I have a package of supplies still bouncing between California, Kalamazoo, GR, Traverse City and back down to GR, LOL. I am really, really trying to stay positive here! LOL It's all good! Still blessed beyond measure, just a bit annoyed.🤣

Artist Anna Marie Pederson has rehomed dozens of bunnies and bears, but there are still a few left in her show at Cherri's Chocol'art LLC Sadly, all good things must come to an end. I'm feeling a strong urge to paint portraits again. There's always been a pull, but it was hard to get family members to sit and one can't do everything while raising and homeschooling 4 kids. My youngest daughter is soon to be married, so maybe now is the time! Here are two of my portraits done from photos. Tia Fane is pastel, Oscar, the adorable grandson of the famous Cherri Emery was painted in acrylic.

I just added the Kalamazoo Nocturne to my website! As I said before, I think I am addicted to city nocturnes, especially in the rain. Kalamazoo is such a great town! Head down and shop at one of the fabulous stores!
