I realized last night that the email about Second Saturday didn't go out as scheduled. If you want to participate and haven't received any confirmation, please text your name to 620-412-3627. Set up will be 8 to 9:30 AM this Saturday, July 11. The event is 10 AM to 3 PM. Thanks, everyone!

Just a quick reminder that if you haven't signed up yet to participate on Second Saturday in July, please do so, so we can get an accurate count for participants. Also, if you're interested in having your artwork displayed at 40 Barrels Restaurant (opening in July) please sign up for that as well. The links to do both of those things are pinned to the top of the page, so they're easy to find.

We have a new local opportunity for artists!

A local business owner is currently accepting artwork submissions for possible display and sale in his restaurant. Information about the opportunity, the display agreement, and the submission form have been distributed through the Osage County Creatives Group email list.

As OCCG continues to grow, opportunities like this will be shared through the email list so artists can receive complete information, submission forms, deadlines, event announcements, and other opportunities in one place.

If you're not currently on the OCCG email list, now is a great time to join so you don't miss future opportunities.

🎨 CALL FOR CREATIVES! 🎨

The Osage County Creatives Group is currently accepting signups for our June Second Saturday Creative Show at the Depot!

🌈 June Theme: COLOR EXPLOSION 🌈

We’re looking for ALL kinds of creatives from across Osage COUNTY whose work fits the Color Explosion theme. Painters, makers, fiber artists, photographers, mixed media artists, paper artists, sculptors, and more are all welcome!

📍 Santa Fe Depot Building on Market Street
📅 Second Saturday June 13
⏰ 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

A few things to know:
✨ Tabletop displays only
✨ Easels are welcome
✨ All experience levels are welcome, including first-time exhibitors
✨ This is a relaxed, community-focused creative event
✨ Interactive creative activities will also be available during the event

This event is open to ALL Osage County residents, not just Osage City creatives!

Please note:
Sales are not conducted onsite during the event. Instead, artists contact information will be displayed so visitors can connect with them afterward about purchases, commissions, classes, or future opportunities.

If you're not aware, the Burlingame Schuyler Museum is open today as part of the Burlingame Fire District #6's Fire Truck Show AND Burlingame Rodeo Days. The museum is VERY COOL, as are the fire trucks out on display at the north end of the property. If you have a chance, the visit is TOTALLY worth it!
