Let's celebrate Garba with us!

GCS of Tucson invites you and your family to celebrate Garba Night 2025 with us! Let’s come together for an evening filled with dance, devotion, and joy as we celebrate the spirit of Navratri.

Sewa Diwali Initiative:

Namaste, GCS of Tucson members,

With heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming success of Sewa Diwali 2023, we are excited to announce the Sewa Diwali 2024 Food Donation Drive, running through November 16th, 2024. Sewa Diwali is a beautiful initiative that unites us and various Indian socio-cultural organizations with one shared goal — to give back to the community we call home during the auspicious festival of Diwali, which will be celebrated worldwide on October 31st, 2024.

Last year, through the generous support of families in our community, we contributed 9,300 pounds of food to the Navajo Community, making a significant impact. The outpouring of support was truly inspiring, and we invite you all again to join us in this spirit of service and kindness.

Please bring vegetarian, non-perishable items to this year's Garba or Diwali night at the Chinese Cultural Center, including today. We will have a box ready for you to drop off your donation. If you want to donate cash, please get in touch with Parixit at the event or by phone at 8478496634. The list of items is attached to the flyers.

We encourage:

Dear GCS Tucson Community Members,

We are excited to invite you to a special evening of live garba with Sandeep Lohani on October 12th at 6 pm at the Chinese Cultural Center of Tucson.

The night will begin with a delicious Mexican Bhel snack at 6 pm, a traditional Garba of 2 Tali and 3 Tali from 7 pm to 9 pm, and a Mataji Aarti at 9 pm. Then, partake in prasad and savor traditional Fafda and Jalebi. After enjoying the food, play Raas to vibrant music till midnight!

Your presence will make this event truly special. We would appreciate your help maintaining the facility's cleanliness during and after the event. Together, we can ensure a memorable and enjoyable evening for everyone.

We can't wait to share this cultural celebration with you and look forward to seeing you there!
