I hope you were able to grab a pack of the Splash of Sparkle Specialty DSP before it retired. This is my favorite pattern in the pack. I foiled a butterfly from Butterfly in Flight and colored it to match the DSP. I love how it turned out.

I made this card to post on Instagram and Pinterest (Chris Is Stampin). I was not planning on buying the Frosted Pinecones bundle. I have enough pinecones; but after seeing so many beautiful, non-traditional, colors used, I couldn’t resist. Here I’ve used Cloud Cover and Secret Sea for the pinecone and Soft Sea Foam and Mossy Meadow for the greenery. I die cut the image using the Branching Out dies (retired) rather than using the die that came with the bundle. It’s matted with the Winter Dreams Specialty DSP. I love how it turned out and I’m planning on more non-traditional pinecone cards.

In Monday's video, I gave a tip I learned from Jill Lancett on YouTube. She used a glue pen to add dots to card stock. When they dried, she rubbed her foiling sheet over the dots and voila, you had foiled dots. I tried it and it worked. Then I wondered how it would work if I wrote my name with the glue pen. I said I'd post the results here because I needed time for the glue to dry. The results aren't quite as nice as the dots. I don't know if I need to learn to write neater with the glue pen, but here is the result.

I made these 2 cards using the Glow of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper for my weekly YouTube video. Since the POTM can only be purchased one time, I wanted to challenge myself to be a little more frugal with this gorgeous DSP. After all, when you love a paper this much, you want to stretch every pretty little piece as far as you can! I show you how I used this DSP to create 2 cards while being mindful of how much paper I'm using. It's a great project if you're looking for ways to make your Designer Series Paper go a little further without sacrificing the beauty of your finished cards. https://youtu.be/pbOwa-xE9b4

I created this card using the new Framed & Fabulous Hot Foil bundle that will be available In September. Dress up your cards with hot foil. This set adds metallic foil details to a circular die cut for an elegant, eye-catching finish. Here I used the Bloom Boutique Specialty DSP for added gold shimmer.

Another sneak peek of the new Sept.-Dec. catalog: Santa's Hat.

A classic Christmas combination of plaid, Santa’s hat, and a little sparkle makes this card merry and bright! I love how a few simple elements can come together to create a festive handmade card. ❤️💚

I used the Santa's Hat stamp set from the upcoming Sept-Dec catalog for this festive card. You'll need to fussy cut it because it doesn't come with a matching die (or use a Scan n' Cut, like I did). The card base is Cherry Cobbler, the DSP is also from the Sept-Dec catalog--A Little Christmas. I cut the hat brim and pom-pom separately in white glitter paper for added sparkle and colored the hat with Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends, although the stamp set does come with a fill-in stamp for 2-step stamping.

Here's another card using the Begonia Belle July Product of the Month stamp set. A little bit of elegance in Secret Sea and white! 💙 The Begonia Belle stamp set creates a beautiful floral focal point, paired with a touch of sparkle and a gorgeous gold-flecked ribbon bow. Sometimes keeping the colors simple makes a card really shine! ✨

I've used the Florals in Bloom DSP (on the Last Chance List), the Spotlight on Nature dies, along with a Night of Navy & Gold Ribbon and Low Profile Sparkle Dots for this card. I don't have any sheer ribbon in Secret Sea and thought this worked out fine.
