I had a chance to drop in on the National Parks At Night group visiting the Cape this week for their intro to night photography workshop. Here are two of their participants capturing a surprise moonrise after an unexpected clearing of evening skies at Paine's Creek in Brewster. I had suggested this location to them and I'm thrilled it worked out. Great group.

I can count on one hand how many times I've shot twilight on the Cape because in my world that's just too darn early. But I couldn't resist this moment during our Race Point moonlit workshop last night. We had some great wispy clouds during our time there. Thanks to the folks Topless Tours Ptown for giving the group a lift!

It's a great day for an art show! Lots of great artisans, food and music down here at Marine Park in Falmouth today from 9 to 4. Today's the last day! I've got copies of my award-winning book Midnight on Cape Cod and lots of night photography with me. If you already own a copy of the book, bring it down and I'll sign it today. See you later!
