To my incredible directors, dancers, families, and staff…

As I sit here and reflect on this past weekend, my heart is completely full.

What began as a dream has become something so much bigger than I ever imagined, and that’s because of each and every one of you. Thank you for believing and trusting me and this event, supporting it, and helping create a weekend filled with talent, friendship, sportsmanship, and unforgettable memories.

A special thank you to my best friend and confidant, Kimberly Fore-Lane. This event would not be what it is without you. Thank you for the countless late-night and early morning, hour long phone calls, encouragement, honesty, and support every step of the way. Through the highs, lows, stress, and excitement, you were always there to remind me why I started this journey. I truly could not have done it without you, and I’m forever grateful for your friendship.

To our families and supporters — thank you for helping create an atmosphere that was welcoming, encouraging, and fun for all involved.

The overwhelming feedback, kind words, hugs, and messages I’ve received over the past few days have been humbling. Seeing our dancers make memories, teams bond, and our community come together reminds me exactly why this event exists.

Thank you for helping make the 2026 Florida Clogging Extravaganza one of our most memorable years yet. I am beyond grateful for every one of you and already looking forward to what we’ll create together next year.

Look at this beautiful retail/front-of-house flamboyance! This photo deserves endless reactions and comments because what you see here is only a small glimpse of the countless hours these amazing people poured into making the Florida Clogging Extravaganza a success.

Mrs. Kathy — THANK YOU for pulling a late night with us to ensure the retail area was set up perfectly and ready for an early morning. Not only did you stay up late helping with setup, but you were back at it bright and early making sure dancers and families could make their purchases—even while battling the challenges of Square. Your patience and dedication never go unnoticed.

Mom & Dad — THANK YOU for flying down early, helping build trophies, and keeping me on track with everything that needed to be done leading up to the event. From the big tasks to the small details, you were there every step of the way. I truly couldn’t have done it without you, and I’m so grateful for your continued love, support, and belief in my dream.

Behind every successful event is a team of people who quietly work tirelessly to make the magic happen — these are only three of them, but three that need a special shoutout! I am beyond thankful for each of you.

Be Discovered Scholarship! 🎉

Be Discovered is one of the most sought-after dance-travel experiences in the world — trusted for over 20 years.

These scholarships honor dancers who stand out with talent, passion, and star potential — dancers who shine onstage and inspire everyone watching.

The winners received a $2,500 partial scholarship towards ANY of the Be Discovered’s signature travel-and-dance programs — including New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Las Vegas, or Disney.

Each winner will choose the program they want to attend.

Be Discovered scholarship winners have gone on to do incredible things — touring internationally with major recording artists and global music groups such as Taylor Swift and BLACKPINK, starring on Broadway, becoming Rockettes, and building careers as choreographers and global dance creators with millions of followers, including Enola Bedard. These are just a few examples of the many opportunities made possible through dedication, training, and opportunity.
