The Best Halloween Ever by Barbara Robinson follows the wildly mischievous Herdman kids from The Best Christmas Pageant Ever in a funny and unforgettable story and is currently being adapted into a new play for young audiences, with Orlando Family Stage leading its development for the stage, with support from Concord Theatricals.

At the Florida Children’s Book Festival, playwrights Skye Hillgartner and Jahnna Beecham worked with actors and director Dimitri Toscas for a live reading of the script. The reading gave audiences a special chance to experience the work in progress and be part of the creative process, led by Artistic Director Jeff Revels. From page to performance, this early reading by Orlando talent helped shape the production before it makes its way to theatre stages very soon. 👀
