William “Billy” Barnes was my friend and musical brother for many years. Bill was a fine jazz man and an expert on vintage cornets, trumpets and flugelhorns. The auction is being run by myself, Dutch Uithoven, and his widow Mimi Barnes for the benefit of Ms. I handle the sales and questions. For Sale Accord trumpet in brass lacquer, $125.
Lot #22 from the collection of the late William "Billy Barnes.
Good condition. Plays okay, I think the second valve possibly out of alignment. Add some felts and you have a shiny good horn for your student.
Says Elkhart Indiana USA on the bell.
SN 393416 (or 8?) Original nice case brand-new condition.
