The front row of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train feels different after dark. 🌙

Our new full 4K POV puts you in the very first seat of Magic Kingdom's family coaster at Walt Disney World, filmed at night in October 2026. With nothing ahead of you but track, you swing into the glittering diamond mine with the Seven Dwarfs, climb to the peak for a view over the lights of Fantasyland, and roll back down to Snow White at the dwarfs' cottage.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train opened in 2014 as the final piece of New Fantasyland. Its mine cars sway side to side through every turn on a Disney-patented ride system, and the only other place in the world to ride it is Shanghai Disneyland.

📏 Trip planning tip: Riders must be at least 38 inches tall. There are no upside-down moments, which makes it a popular first coaster for kids.

1,500 feet above Icy Strait 🚡🌲

Ride both Icy Strait Point gondolas in full 4K POV, from the cruise docks in Hoonah, Alaska, to the summit of Hoonah Mountain.

🟢 Transporter Gondola: free, gliding through the treetops between the cruise docks
🔴 Sky Peak Gondola: about 6 minutes and more than 1,500 feet up to the summit views

Filmed on our Disney Magic Alaska cruise, with soft ambient music over the natural sounds of the ride. No commentary, just the ride.

Ever wondered what it's like to ride from the cruise docks at Icy Strait Point all the way to the top of Hoonah Mountain? 🚡

Our new full 4K POV takes you on both Icy Strait Point gondolas, start to finish.

First, the free green Transporter Gondola glides through the treetops from Adventure Landing by the historic cannery to Wilderness Landing. Then the red Sky Peak Gondola, also called the SkyGlider, climbs more than 1,500 feet up Hoonah Mountain, with views over Icy Strait, its forested islands and snowcapped peaks.

There's no commentary. Soft ambient music plays gently over the natural sounds of the ride, so you can sit back and feel like you're right there in the cabin.

We filmed it in September 2026 during our Disney Cruise Line Alaska cruise on the Disney Magic. Icy Strait Point is a stop for many cruise lines, so it's a helpful preview whatever ship you're sailing on.

Oogie Boogie Bash vs. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 🎃 Which Disney Halloween party is worth the ticket in 2026?

We tracked the posted wait at every ride, on every party night of the season, at Disney California Adventure and Magic Kingdom. Swipe for a few things we found:

🎢 Save the headliners for last. The final party hour had the shortest lines at both parties, every single night.
💸 Pricier nights weren't busier. Mickey's party went from $119 to $219, and the lines stayed flat.
🍬 One party includes your PhotoPass photos. The other brings a parade and fireworks.

Is Festival of Fantasy still the best parade at Walt Disney World, 12 years after its debut? 🏰

Our new video watches the complete Festival of Fantasy Parade 2026 in 4K at Magic Kingdom, filmed in October 2026. You'll see every float from start to finish, including Peter Pan, Tangled, The Little Mermaid, the Disney princesses, Mickey's hot air balloon finale, and the famous steampunk Maleficent dragon from Sleeping Beauty.

Festival of Fantasy first stepped out of the Frontierland gates on March 9, 2014, and it's now the only daily afternoon parade at Walt Disney World. If you're planning a Magic Kingdom day, this is a great way to preview the parade and decide where to watch. And if you just miss the parks, it's a full parade you can relive from home.
