new new new talisman seeking a trustworthy owner!! ✋🏼✨🧵a 8hr labor of love, hand woven using nothing but pure brass… no shortcuts or fancy machines, just patience and pliers.
the bottom piece is larimar, a baby blue stone that only comes from ONE spot on the entire planet: the dominican republic 🇩🇴 believed to carry calming, “peace and clarity” energy; some call it the goddess stone, said to soothe stress and open up honest communication.
flanking it: two pieces of green sea glass, hand hunted off the coast of lake ontario 🇨🇦 still called lake ontario, no rebrand pending, no executive order needed (unlike a certain person we won’t name 👀). believed to bring emotional balance and a sense of calm. something that we the people so deeply need, during these wild unpredictable times on planet earth.
lake ontario and its shores have been home to the haudenosaunee and anishinaabe peoples for thousands of years, LONG BEFORE “canada” or “america” were even words on a map. coming from canadian native relative, it’s even more important to me that we respect where the good stuff ACTUALLY comes from. ✊🏾🪶
and holding it all together is brass wire. this metal is associated with grounding and protective energy. it is said to help keep balance and confidence close to the skin.
