Day 2 of the 2026 Orlando Tap Festival brought the house down! 🔥🕺

What an incredible way to close out an unforgettable weekend! The energy was even higher today, with dancers pushing their limits, mastering new rhythms, and shining brighter than ever. From powerful technique sessions to pure joy in every shuffle and flap, the talent and heart on display were truly inspiring.

A massive thank you to all our incredible dancers, dedicated families, and outstanding faculty for making this year’s festival so special. You are the reason we do this!

🔥 FACULTY ANNOUNCEMENT

Nick Young is a dancer/choreographer based in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from Wisconsin, he trained at his mother’s dance studio in tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and ballet. Nick starting touring with country singer Kenny Rogers for his nationwide Christmas tour when he was 9 years old. At 19, he auditioned for Season 8 of So You Think You Can Dance, and was awarded a spot in the Top 20 specializing in tap. After touring with the Top 10, Nick moved to Los Angeles where he has worked with Jim Carrey, appeared on various Disney Channel shows, Glee, The Goldbergs, and Ted 2. He is currently on faculty at 24 Seven Dance Convention.

Nick’s choreography has been featured on So You Think You Can Dance and World Of Dance. His self-produced tap video to The Beatles’ “Come Together” went viral earning over 10 million views. He took 2nd Runner Up at the 2017 A.C.E. Awards, granting him a production budget towards a new show in Los Angeles. Nick is the founder and artistic director of “Rhythmatic”, a tap company based in Los Angeles. Their debut show “On Top Of The World” was a smash hit, debuting to sold out crowds at the 2018 Bermuda Festival for the Performing Arts, Los Angeles and San Diego. He most recently choreographed for the hit Vegas show “Absinthe”, and is currently writing and directing a short film.
