KEVIN is best known for his role as "Duane" in Frank Henenlotter's horror splatter film "Basket Case", Basket Case 2" and "Basket Case 3". Kevin has also appeared in another Henenlotter film "Brain Damage", as well as "The Catskill Chainsaw Redemption" and many more.

Meet D-VON DUDLEY at Spooky Empire October 27-29, 2023 in Orlando, FL!

D-VON DUDLEY is one half of the professional wrestling tag team, The Dudley Boyz. They are best known for their time in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). They are also well known for their tenure in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA, now Impact).[2] They are considered one of the major teams that revived tag team wrestling during the Attitude Era and have been described as the greatest and most decorated tag team in professional wrestling history.

They are famously known for their pioneering use of tables in their matches, usually beginning with Bubba Ray asking D-Von to "get the tables" in the middle of a match

To say Spooky Empire lost one of its brightest and most colorful lights today is an understatement.

Our friend and OG Spooky Family member Denna passed away this morning surrounded by an unbelievable circle of friends and family.

Denna started out as a Spooky Empire attendee, then went on to win a pair of VIP passes about 12 years ago, which hooked her for life. So much so that she eventually jumped on board and took over as our volunteer coordinator and production manager. She was a main force behind how our show runs today and pioneered many of the ways our convention runs and other conventions soon followed. We would not be where we are now without her help.

She most always greeted you with a smiling face and zoomed around like a literal rainbow, there is no one more colorful. She was a force in her community here in Orlando, lending her hand, heart and skills to many other areas and events other than Spooky. Her heart was definitely here in Central Florida and in the arts community and we know she will be greatly missed in this town.

She will be in our hearts forever and she will always be missed by our immediate family and our Spooky Family.

We're dedicating our socials to her for the next 24 hours. Please feel free to share your photos and stories here, we'd love to hear and see them all. You can tag us so we can see them all.

Sadly instead of our scheduled guest announcement today, we are here to announce some devastating news💔

Our good friend, and very important part of our Spooky Empire Family, Ricou Browning, has passed away.

Ricou probably attended Spooky Empire more times than any other guest. He was a favorite regular at our events, appearing since 2004, and he will be greatly missed at Spooky Empire and in the horror community.

The last surviving actor to have portrayed a Universal Monster, The Creature From the Black Lagoon, Ricou was well loved in this community.
