"Whispers of the Wolf"

Original Mixed Media on 20 X 16" hardboard panel. Our beautiful blue wolf is painted using acrylics and inks with a textured background made from collage papers and mediums.

This piece took a surprisingly long time to finish because of design changes and editing. (Translation: I kept changing my mind!) But I am finally happy with the result. I love wolves and wanted to create a sort of fantasy version.

Welcome!!!!

Thank you so much for being here as I start my new page.

My name is Maria and I am a Mixed Media Artist in Central Florida. Although I have dabbled in many different subject matters and styles, I am now primarily focused on fantasy and wildlife. I have always enjoyed painting animals and have spent a lifetime fascinated by mythical stories and creatures. I mean, who doesn't love dragons? 🐉😎

My artwork is primarily a mix of watercolor, acrylics, inks and pencils but I have also recently been obsessed with pan pastels!
While I am a college graduate with a Bachelors in Fine Art, I am mostly self taught. I owe my learning to a lot of talented artists on YouTube and social media who have inspired me to keep creating and keep trying new things.💙

At times I will also share with you some fan art since I am a certified GEEK girl!

My original art is available for purchase on Etsy as well as a secondary shop where I sell pinback buttons for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I will post links in the comments for both!
